Students of Eden Autism Services Florida’s Naples School recently began work at Grace Place for Children and Families, Inc., to create a revitalized garden program for the at-risk children and families in Golden Gate. Eight students began the project in March and will work through the end of this semester, with the expectation to resume the program in the fall. Guided by Garden at Eden Farm Manager John Puig, the


Eden students will be preparing garden beds, providing their prized worm compost and assisting in planting spring crops of organic vegetables. The program was initiated after the success students have had in farming organic produce the last two years at the Garden at Eden farm and selling it at the North Naples Green Market. Students of Eden Florida’s Naples School are now taking the next step to share their skills to help others in the community.
