Preservation Hall to close Preservation Hall, a provider of architectural components from old

homes and buildings that has had a store in Weaverville since 1999, announced it is closing its doors. From the Preservation Hall website: “We’ve made a decision to move on and have put up our building

and business for sale. We have had a wonderful decade working with great artists, wonderful architectural suppliers and of course terrific customers. ... We were surprised that an acceptable offer has already been received for the building, but the potential buyer will not be continuing the Preservation Hall business. When the buyer obtains their loan approval, a closing date will be set, perhaps early May. As a thank you to our wonderful friends and customers, this will allow us to offer you incredible savings on the architectural and gallery items. Keep posted on when the sale prices begin.”
