charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Watts was
placed under a $15,500 bond. Tripp, 28, is charged with intent to
sell and deliver LSD, Oxycodone, Ad- derall, Xanax and marijuana. In ad- dition, she is charged with maintain- ing a vehicle for the sell and delivery of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and drug parapherna- lia. She is also charged with misde- meanor child abuse because a child was in the vehicle with her at the time of the arrest, according to Chief Greg Stephens with the Weaverville Police
Department. She was placed under a $35,500 bond, and Weaverville po- lice seized her vehicle. Alvarez, 21, is charged with posses-
sion of LSD, Oxycodone, Adderall, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was placed under a $6,500 bond. Hensley, 20, is charged with pos-
session of marijuana, drug para- phernalia and carrying a concealed weapon. Police issued her citations and released her at the scene. “It was a teamwork effort among

our officers to make these arrests and get these drugs out of Weaver- ville,” said Sgt. Stacy Wyatt with the Weaverville Police Department in a release. Stephens credited the officers’ hard
work in being able to apprehend the suspects. “Our officers do a tremendous
job day in and day out to make sure Weaverville is a safe place. Tese peo- ple and drugs could have easily gone unnoticed,” he said in a release.
