Department arrested a man they believe was connected to an indoor marijuana-growing operation. James Franklin Luther, 45, is


charged with possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver a schedule IV controlled substance, maintaining a dwelling for controlled substances and possession of drug paraphernalia. According to a release from the de-


partment, officers served the warrant Feb. 9 at Luther’s home on Weaver-


ville Road. Te release stated that the arrest


was the culmination of a lengthy investigation initiated by the depart- ment’s patrol officers. Equipment used for growing mari-


juana was also recovered at the scene, police said.
