colour! The new 2011 Forever&Ever brochure is now available. “Forever&Ever is for everybody. Everyone loves a vibrant friend who always wears a smile,” says the brand. This is why Forever&Ever reports to be a favourite with dyed-in-the-wool gardeners, as well as very appealing to lovers of the great outdoor who have less time. That’s not to forget children who simply adore cheerful colour all year
‘Art’ is the theme

With its new initiatives, developments and novelties, Plantarium 2011 will be the stage for "works of art" by its participants and the sector. Entries from 13 different countries and professional visitors from about 40 countries

Retail launch for
Tropicanna Black The newly launched ‘Tropicanna Black’ canna from Anthony Tesselaar International joins Tropicanna canna (var. ‘Phasion’) and Tropicanna Gold canna (var. MACtro) to complete a spectacular trio of plants. Tropicanna Blacks combination of colours is truly striking; contrasting the magnificent shades of its purple and black leaves are the rich scarlet and orange flowers that appear from spring through to autumn. Tropicanna Black can be planted directly into the ground, where it will grow to 180cm high in its second year, or in pots and other containers, where it will reach 120cm. Mature width is around 50cm, while the lily-shaped flowers appear on stalks of 10–13cm long. The canna genus is tough and versatile and will thrive with minimum care and attention once established. This makes it possible to combine Tropicanna Black with Tropicanna and Tropicanna Gold to create a visually stunning garden display. With an SRP of £5.99, Tropicanna Black will be available at garden centres across the UK, including DIY stores such as B&Q and Homebase. For more information email

Chairman Jan-Willem Griep commented: "We want to experience the price pressure experienced by our participants on a daily basis.” Plantarium 2011 will take place at the International Trade Centre in Hazerswoude/Boskoop, from August 24-25.
