collectors German specialist Graf has announced the introduction of three new exciting rainwater collection tanks to its Garantia range, which will appeal to owners of both new and period homes. The new rainwater collection tanks are all made from UV-stable, weather- resistant plastic and designed to enhance outdoor living areas. They form a new ‘exclusive’ line to complement the company’s existing basic and classic series. The Antique Amphora (pictured) is a highly convincing reproduction of a terracotta vase, which is available in three sizes offering capacities from 200-600 litres in heights of 1080, 1200 and 1420-mm respectively. There is a choice of two colours, either classic terracotta or warm sandy-beige, and an additional feature is the attractive integrated planter on the top of each tank. In the same collection is the Sunda tank, which has a modern wicker finish and curved edges to blend perfectly with the current fashion for outdoor seating areas. This unit is in a trendy mocha colour and has a useful capacity of 300-litres. New landscaping show
The British Association of Landscape Industries (BALI) has joined forces with professional event organiser Brintex, to launch a major new landscaping event to be held on June 21-22, 2011. BALI 2011 – The Landscaping Show will be targeted at landscape architects and designers, contractors, specifiers and procurement professionals. It is, in effect, a re-launch of the previous BALI events which were held back in the early 1990’s at the same Stoneleigh Park
venue. This new annual event will comprise three key elements: an exhibition for suppliers to showcase their products and services to a professional audience, demonstration areas for machinery, product installations and landscaping skills, and a two-day seminar programme with CPD-accredited sessions delivered by key industry speakers in the adjacent Warwick Conference Centre.
