Newmark to Build Woodhaven Plan for Benefit Homes Project

ewmark Homes announced that the company will construct its popular Woodhaven Plan
for the 2011 Benefit Homes Project, a Greater Houston Builders Association charity. Newmark will build the home in Towne Lake on a homesite donated by the community’s developer, Caldwell Companies.
Benefit Homes Project
Each year two homes are built for the GHBA fundraiser. The homes are constructed with hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of donated materials, labor and services by GHBA members. The Benefit Homes are built with multiple amenities and upgrades then sold at market value. The majority of the proceeds from the sale of these luxurious homes are donated to three Houston charities.

Newmark Homes’ Woodhaven – 1883.7 Plan is a 3,973 sq. ft., four bedroom, 3.5 bath, two-story home. There are two formals, and the family room offers a double coffered ceiling, and the large gourmet kitchen features a large island and a butler’s pantry.

fundraiser began, more than $6 million has been raised. The charities are Texas Children’s Cancer Center, the Alzheimer’s Association and HomeAid Houston. This year, Newmark Homes has committed to contributing a portion of the home’s proceeds to a fourth charity, the 100 Club Survivor’s Fund. This well-respected charity steps in to assist the families of officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty.
