Art in the Woods Event Returns

ach year, a group of lo- cal artists gets together to present an Art Show and Sale in the Woods at the studio of photo artist Kim Hambor. This year, the free event will be held from 10
a.m.to 6 p.m., March 19, in the natural
wooded surroundings of the host’s studio in the Iona area of Fort Myers. Attendees can enjoy food, live music, a children’s activity area and a raffle of Hambor’s original artwork, designed ex- clusively for this event. The proceeds of the raffle and a percentage of artist sales will go to Footsteps to the Future, Inc., a nonprofit organization that mentors and provides transitional living for girls in and aging out of foster care.

Spring Mystic Faire Returns to Etudes Dance Studio

sure sign that the seasons are chang- ing is the return of the annual Spring
Mystic Faire. This year’s edition, to again benefit the local Family to Family orga- nization, will take place from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., March 26, at the Etudes Dance Studio, in Naples.
A variety of healers and psychics will
offer massage, Reiki, animal communica- tion and feng shui consultations. Crystals, candles, incense, spiritual art, books, jewelry, Native American art and drums, angel art and mandalas will be available, as well. The Faire includes vendors and a food court, plus door prizes throughout the event, with raffle proceeds going to local charities.
