Important Notification – Minor ingredient change to ProSource Liquid… but still 10g protein & 100kcal in every 30ml sachet!!
ProSource Liquid – the unique supplement that many health professionals are describing as ‘just what we have been waiting for’ – is to undergo a minor ingredient change from January 2011, as follows:
Sucrose will be replaced by sugar; tartaric acid will be added; and sodium acid sulfate will be removed.
All macronutrient levels remain unchanged. Sodium will increase slightly from
20mg to 28mg / 30ml; Potassium will decrease from 20mg to 12mg/30ml; Phosphorus will increase slightly from 80mg to 81mg/30ml
ACBS approved ProSource Liquid will continue to deliver a unique combination of 100kcal & 10g protein in just 30ml, making it an ideal supplement for patients with protein energy malnutrition, and/or on a fluid restricted diet such as post GI surgery, oncology, renal dialysis, wounds, burns and pressure sores. ProSource Liquid can be taken as a ‘shot’, administered with a tube feed, or added directly to a patients meal, drink or sip feed – without any of the complications associated with powdered or higher volume sip feeds.
