There are nine categories, seven of which we would like your nominations for. A breakdown and description of the categories can be found below.


Community Nutrition Professional of the Year – Reader nominations


A Community Nutrition Professional who has gone above and beyond what is expected of them in their day to day role – this could include: taking on additional duties, running a specific project/research or charitable work. Sponsored by Yakult

Lifetime Achievement of Year – CN to nominate


This prestigious award will be given to an individual or professional group/body who has made an outstanding contribution to clinical, medical or health nutrition throughout their time within the arena.

Nutrition Resource of the Year – Reader nominations


A public body/charity/Industry resource that readers have utilised and found extremely valuable throughout their practice – e.g. website, educational tool, practical tool.


Student of the Year – Lecturers/placement department nominations A student that has excelled during their studies or a specific notable achievement beyond what is expected of them as part of their studies or placement – a student that stands out from the rest.


Enteral Nutrition Professional of the Year – Reader nominations


A Enteral Nutrition Professional who has gone above and beyond what is expected of them in their day to day role – this could include: taking on additional duties, running a specific project/research or charitable work.


Parenteral Nutrition Professional of the Year – Reader nominations A Parenteral Nutrition Professional who has gone above and beyond what is expected of them in their day to day role – this could include: taking on additional duties, running a specific project/research or charitable work.

New Product of the Year – Companies/industry nominations Nominations will be sought from companies who have launched a new product during 2010 – nominations are also welcome for re- launched and reformulated products. Nominated products can include a clinical product (e.g. oral nutritional supplement, parental nutrition product) or food product with a specific health claim.


Service of the Year – Reader nominations


Nominations will be sought from readers who would like to propose an individual or company who have provided them with exemplary service – i.e. a homecare company or company representative that has gone beyond the call of duty.


CN Writer of the Year – CN to nominate The CN Team will be considering all articles that have been included within CN this year that have captured the essence and purpose of CN – to provide the reader with an educative, informative, practical and topical read.
