D&G, charity begins at
(every) home
We all have the odd spare tin of food in the cupboard and Ivor Dickinson decided that some of them could be put to good use. On 1st December, the D&G/Kids Company Charity day, all their offices were closed and all 200 employees donned Kids Co hoodies and took to the streets in icy conditions to forage for food. “Working their socks off from dawn to dusk, with Block Management staff wrapping presents all day at Kids Company Headquarters,” said Ivor Dickinson MD, “the sales staff, using all of their best selling techniques, extracted food, toys and money from the good people of D&G land.” (that’s London by the way). By the end of a long and very cold day, they filled 343 removal boxes (kindly donated by Cadogan Tate Removals) with an extraordinary 18,500 individual items of food from cans of baked beans to luxury boxes of chocolates, which were packed
design Good prospects for 2011!
Home Counties based estate agency Prospect has recently opened a new branch in Camberley, Surrey. The revolutionary new office, designed by Kraft Ltd, sits in the heart of the town’s new
Atrium development. Colin Wells, MD of Prospect
told us, “This is a highly prominent site in a town with stiff competition, so we really needed to come up with a cutting edge design that had
the maximum impact. With a large, glass fronted unit like this we felt that the office interior needed to connect with people looking in. Kraft really understood our thoughts and needs before putting their
designs together, and their attention to detail right through the process impressed. The result is an amazing office which continues to get praise from staff and clients alike.” Kraft also project managed
the works for Prospect. Andrew Tomlinson of Kraft explained the design process, “We wanted to take the already established Prospect brand in a new and exciting direction and reflect the companies’ forward thinking and progressive approach to estate agency with a dynamic image statement. “By creating an office design that pushed the boundaries and turned the idea of the traditional estate agency office on its head, we were able to achieve this. The new look is motivational for the staff, confidence inspiring for clients and now leads the way in this competitive sector.”
