in addition to his current position as MD for Connells Survey & Valuation Ltd and will be responsible for the next stage of development for Connells mortgage and insurance business. Effective as of 1 January 2011, this appointment will see Ross’s return to leading the Group’s mortgage business. “I am delighted to be taking back the Mortgage Services business at such an exciting time,” says Ross. “Connells has invested heavily in this area of the business in 2010, and this is set to continue with the recruitment of 100 new mortgage service consultants in our estate agency branch network over the coming months.” “We have a fantastic management team supporting the mortgage business including John Williams, Karen Faulkner, Alison Walley and Simon Toone who will be instrumental to our planned growth in 2011.”

Complaints Reviewer to the Homes and Communities Agency and the Tenant Services Authority among other organisations and was Independent Case Examiner for the Department of Work and Pensions for several years. With a background as a solicitor and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, she is also a member of the Administrative Justice and Tribunals Council. Steve Harriott became TDS Chief Executive in September and joined from a housing association background which included being Chief Executive of the Origin Group and AmicusHorizon.
