historically black colleges and universities. In addition, in 2010 NCR Founda- tion/Black College Expo delivered over a half a million in scholarships to high school seniors and college students. Thousands of students got accepted on the spot to colleges at the expos held in Los Angeles and Oakland Califor- nia, Atlanta, New York, and DC/Maryland. National College Resources Foun- dation is a nonprofit 501c3 organization helping students from underserved and underrepresented communities daily with their dreams of attending col- lege and becoming successful adults. Black College Expo is one of six pro- grams of NCR Foundation, featuring a day full of fun and excitement where close to 100 colleges and educational programs are on site to help students and their families with the college admission process. Celebrities such as Universal Recording Melanie Fiona, Actress KeKe Palmer and Actor/Direc- tor Bill Duke attend to help encourage the students to stay in school and dis- cuss the importance of education.

Mission Statement: Our mission is to curtail the high school dropout rate and at the same time increase college enrollment among underserved and underrepresented youth. Our year-round outreach program connects students directly to colleges, provides scholarships, and offers tutorial programs for college preparation. In addition, our outreach program provides guidance for student-athletes and connects students to career and internship opportunities. These comprehensive outreach activities continue to produce productive citizens in a diverse and competitive world who will positively impact their communities and our nation.
