Science, Culture and the Human Body-Field

By Peter H Fraser, Chief Scientific Officer, NES Health Limited

Finding a Framework for Energetic Medicine

The empirical approach to science and health means that energetic approaches to healing such as herbalism, homeopathy, radionics and NES Health all need to find a framework. Most of these disciplines use their own cult languages, which have never been translated into accepted scientific language. This means that the conflict between the mainstream and alternative health fields is a cultural problem and not necessarily a scientific one. From the early days of my research into the human body-field (HBF) I was interested in exploring this issue, hence in 1990, I began to discard the arcane medieval language of traditional Chinese medicine to replace words like qi, chong mai and jing with words that can be more easily communicated to other scientists. My point is that science rests essentially upon an agreed-upon language, and most natural health therapists don`t speak it. So, if you want to be accepted, you have to change.

Challenging Conditioning

Nicholas Copernicus died on 24th May 1543, on the day when a printed copy of his book De revolutionibus orbium coelestium finally reached him. It was six

volumes of astronomical data about the sun as the centre of the planetary system. The book was mostly ignored until it was banned in 1616 by the Inquisition, in Poland. (Such a fright it was to interest groups in society that mankind was not the centre of creation that Copernicus’s body was not even put in a coffin until 2005!) I venture to say that there are dozens of Nicholas Copernicuses of our last century who have published works indicating the presence of field dynamics. Like him, they published and then their work perished.

What is more frightening and threatening to the stability of good society than a theory of information transfer inside the body, and most likely also outside the body? Why did a respected scientist like Jacques Benvensite never work again for saying that water can hold an imprint of information? Is the reason that the great scientist Gilbert Ling has never appeared in a course textbook on cell biology that he has experimentally debunked some of mainstream biology’s major propositions? Again, although we know we are not the centre of the universe, the same threat is there. These revolutionary scientists are showing that mankind is part of a huge network of information

generated by all manner of matter and events in the Universe. In fact, we simply fit into a larger system as a comparatively minor cog in the wheel of a huge creation.

Another appealing realisation is that anyone can access scientific knowledge and doesn’t need to go to any exalted authority to get it. Humans get very upset when their power structures are threatened, regardless of their intelligence. But the more conscious among my readers will readily agree that development of consciousness is not compatible with information control in respect to other people. Consciousness is about the free flow of information. So, what happens when new information conflicts with life-long conditioning?
