his is a story about a young child who at 8 years of age, fell in love with a slaugh- ter house bound Quarter Horse and felt an immedi- ate connection with him. This young ladies name is Isabella Danisi-Gonzalez who has proven over this experience that she has a
ternet while her mom was away in Europe working. When mom returned they immediately went to Ha- naeleh Horse Rescue, Trabuco Canyon, CA, to see this horse. Two women, Elizabeth Zarkos and Lori Boc- chichio, who run Hanaeleh Horse Rescue, saved this horse from slaughter just before he was to be shipped. Elizabeth is a teacher working on her PhD, and Lori is a full time nurse at HOAG Hospital, and together they are working hard to save and rehabilitate horses that have been abused, abandoned or sold to Slaughter houses.
