Dear Readers, W THE
economy dips, climbs and then dives, people make adjustments but somehow go on with their lives. The same is true of the horse show world; it has changed a lot but is still somehow the same. We had the amazing experience of WEG in this country for the first time, and hopefully not the last. More about those tables inside ShowBiz this issue, read on! ShowBiz is introducing a new section; we are going to

new USJHA set of rule changes going into effect. The convention is usually a hubbub of rule change proposals and this year is no different…EXCEPT the new task force has undertaken the huge job of re-inventing some of the rules as they relate to show standards, Heritage status, and competition formats. Might be pretty exciting
take a shot at helping the horse show community with sales information. The new “Select Sales Section”, just in front of the Directory, presents a nice selection of sale horses that are available, even though we kept it extremely small this time as a trial section. As we travel around the shows now, the number of rings keeps us on the run and usually it is only after a horse is sold do we realized it was even on the market at all. Please take a minute to give us feedback! As we head into 2011, we do so with anticipation of a
