New Green Series Explores Human- Nature Relationships

igh Tech North continues its Green Series of eco-workshops with Eco-


psychology, which explores the links between nature and madness; technology and addiction; the Wilderness Effect; the psychopathology of the human-nature relationship; restoring habitats, com- munities and souls; and the search for non-material fulfillment. The first of four classes led by Environmental Educator Angela Melton will take place from 6 to 9 p.m., November 9, at High Tech North, in Cape Coral. New Green Series workshops will be offered approximately every four to six weeks.

Attendees will learn the nine principles that guide Florida-friendly landscaping, as the mas- ter gardeners discuss plant selection and placement; efficient irrigation; proper mulching; and techniques to obtain a beautiful and healthy yard. The workshop is sponsored by Lee County Extension and the Florida Yards & Neighborhoods program.
