urvedic Spa is now offer- ing Ashiatsu “Barefoot” Ma s s a g e , w i t h L i - censed Mas- sage Thera- pi s t Linda Glenn. The 15-year veteran practitioner can also provide neuromuscular, trigger point therapy, deep-tissue and therapeutic massage at the Bonita Springs facility. Ashiatsu, which means “foot pres- sure,” is an ancient ayurvedic form of barefoot massage that combines Swedish, myofascial and deep, pain-free compression techniques. “This is great for relief from overused or sore muscles due to sports and work-related stress,” says Glenn. “It also assists with postural alignment and increasing blood circulation.” Joyful Yoga & Ayurvedic Spa, staffed
with experienced massage therapists, skin care specialists and Ayurvedic con- sultants, offers classes for all levels of practice, workshops, yoga retreats and a Yoga Alliance-certified 200-hour teacher training program.
