Mystic Faire Returns to Etudes Dance Studio

pproximately 50 vendors and experts will offer a wide variety of fine artistic wares and
health services at the fifth annual Fall Mystic Faire, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., November 27. The largest event of its kind in the region, the Faire will be held at Etudes Dance Studio, in Naples. Attendees will be able to choose from crystals, candles, jewelry, books, incense
and other pieces for holiday gifts and experience psychic readings, massages, Reiki and other healing sessions. The event will also include two lectures by local medium and event organizer
Candyce Strafford, plus a food court. Prize drawings will be held throughout the event, with raffle proceeds benefiting local charities.

or the first time, the Alliance for the Arts, ArtFest Fort Myers, Florida Repertory Theatre,
Gulf Coast Symphony, Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center, Gulfshore Ballet, the Southwest Florida Symphony and other institutions will all gather to showcase their upcoming seasons. Taste of the Arts, a unique opportunity to enjoy many of Lee County’s finest art and cultural offerings, will be conducted from 4 to 7 p.m., November 14, at Alliance for the Arts, in Fort Myers.
The organizations will present performances every 30 minutes. The event will
also feature art displays by Alliance for the Arts and ArtFest Fort Myers members. e v ent s wi l l highlight the fourth annual Celebrate the Arts Month in Collier County during Novem- ber. Local arts and cultural organizations will present dance, vocal and musical performances; theater, art and photogra- phy exhibits; museum activities; outdoor concerts; and arts-related educational programs. Many are free, while others require reservations and tickets. The events are sponsored by the
United Arts Council, designated as the county’s official local nonprofit arts agency and responsible for promoting arts and culture. President Mally Khorasantchi believes that this is an exceptional year for the program. “It just keeps getting better and better every year,” she says. “Most of our arts and cultural organizations use Celebrate the Arts Month to kick off their official seasons.” Collier County is home to 54 sepa-
rate arts groups and cultural destinations, nearly 100 galleries and artist studios, and 500-plus resident artists and musi- cians. Program sponsors include Moran- Edwards Asset Management Group, the Naples Daily News, Comcast and Gulf- shore Life.
