Park’s status remains under review

points and conflicting stories shared between the owner of C‘N’C Mobile Home Park and Woodfin officials for the town’s planning and zoning board to come to a conclusion. And that is, the members need
more time. Member Kasha Baxter led a motion
to seek further clarification from the Woodfin Board of Aldermen before deciding whether to affirm or over- turn a recent decision by the alder- men to revoke the park’s status. Te zoning board’s verdict could
come at its Oct. 4 meeting. Woodfin Town Administrator
Jason Young said town inspections uncovered numerous nuisance, zon-
ing and housing code violations at the park that led the aldermen to believe it posed as an “imminent threat.” By revoking the status, the park
can be shut down and the tenants will be forced to move, although some residents say their homes are too old to move. “What’s going to happen to the people that live there?” resident
