Hispanics in THe U.s. MiliTary 2010


F


ewer than one–half percent of com- missioned officers make it to the top or serve as high-level officers at major commands and at the Pentagon, perform major tactical operations and conduct sus- tained battles and engagements. So in this issue of HE&IT magazine, we are honored to profile men and women in the top ech- elons of the U. S. armed forces, serving their country in sensitive leadership positions on both domestic and foreign shores. While not a complete listing of flag-level officers, the following is a representative sample of top Hispanics in the U.S. military who are defending America at home and abroad.
