and Gifts, a place for local artists to display and sell their work and a gathering spot for classes, spe- cial events and shopping, wi l l celebrate a grand
opening at its Lake Zurich location from 6 to 8 p.m., October 8 and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., October 9. Friday’s festivities in- clude a meet-and-greet with the artists, and special celebration surprises are planned throughout the day on Saturday. Wise Women features the work of painters, potters, jewelry
artists, fabric artists and writers, and is open Tuesday through Saturday. The shop will also offer special events such as demos by local artists, classes and book signings.
