Fitbug secures US deal with Scifit UK-based Fitbug Holdings,
provider of online fitness services, has secured a partnership agreement with equipment manufacturer Scifit. The deal will see Fitbug's personal well-being technology – which includes a small device, 'the bug', that calculates daily exercise levels – being offered to Scifit's client base in the US. Scifit specialises in supplying equipment to military, rehabilitation, medical and education programmes.
Cox Green facility to introduce simulator The recently-opened Cox Green Leisure Centre in Maidenhead, Berkshire, is to introduce intelligent gaming technology – the Dogfight virtual plane simulator – into its workout room. The Dogfight, which offers a full featured flight simulator interfaced with a recumbent exercise bike, will be supplied by Instyle Fitness and is available for members to use from September 2010.
