purpose,” she says. “That purpose is to help men and women of all ages feel and look their absolute best.” Lilia came to the United States from Europe in 1991, where she

earned a bachelor’s degree in education. In 1995 she earned a mas- ter’s degree in management and finance. Although she always had a love of cosmetology, she spent years working in an office environ- ment. She enjoyed her work, but she wasn’t fulfilled. Her love of makeup prompted her to join Shiseido Cosmetics,

where she became a counter manager and eventually a promotional artist. She spent three years at Shiseido, where she learned the tricks of the trade and became more knowledgeable about skincare. In 2000, she became a licensed skincare specialist and cosmetologist. It wasn’t until Lilia was looking to make a change within herself

that her business really took off. “I knew I needed to do something different–to become healthier,” she says. She began looking into more holistic, natural ways to treat the skin and body. In 2002, she opened Lilia’s Skin and Body Solutions, where she

offers customized facials, glycolic peels, body wraps and treatments, reflexology, make-up application, manicures and pedicures, and hair removal. Her bio-needle therapy uses a roller with needles that helps open up pores and promotes regeneration of flesh, improv- ing the skin’s color and elasticity. A three-day detox program uses a combination of toxin-releasing treatments, which energize the body from the inside out. Spa and gift packages are available for “girls’ night out” or other

events. She also does makeup, manicures, and pedicures for wed- dings. The best part is that she can come to you. “Everything I do is very mobile,” she says. “I can just pack up my products and go.” Her goal is to help people live better, feel better and look bet-

ter. Now, she has taken that goal one step further by offering energy work; something Lilia sees as a natural progression toward her goal. Energy work is a therapy that initiates healing and well-being.

Lilia says it is especially suited for those who are depressed, fa- tigued, anxious, or simply unhappy with life since it’s also a method of personal growth and spiritual enlightenment. Energy work consists of balancing the chakras within the body. By clearing and/ or opening the chakras, individuals are empowered with balance and harmony; thus, encouraging overall well-being–mind, body, and soul. She says doing it in combination with the skin treatment intensifies the results.
