NYTW joined forces with Affinity Collaborative Theatre and L.A. Theatre Works to present this inside look at The Washington Post’s decision to publish the classified study documenting the U. S. involvement in Vietnam. The play, based on an extraordinary true story, asks the enduring question: In a democratic society, when, if ever, should a goverment be allowed to protect secrets in the name of national security? The play featured such real life characters as Richard Nixon, Washington Post Editor Ben Bradlee and Publisher Katharine Graham, mother of NYTW’s own founding Trustee, Stephen Graham.
