This combina- tion backboard/scoop stretcher separates at either end and can be split into two halves, maximizing its versatility and eliminating the need for log-rolling or unnecessary movement of the patient. The concave design also minimizes patient movement during transport, while the unique continuous head support surface improves neutral alignment.

With a minimum tensile strength of 12,162lbs, these 13mm ropes consist of a braided core of 100% Kevlar®AP fiber with a Kernmantle braided cover of Pelican’s patented Glow Nylon Fiber. The Dyneema version of this rope floats.
