software had an EMS module that allowed us to collect EMS information, produce various EMS reports and to even track call participation among our EMS personnel. It was a perfect fit – almost! One thing was missing and that was the billing so-
lution. That is what turned us to Zoll Data’s RescueNet®
software suite. The vi-
sion was that the data would be collected on computers in the field, synchronized to the server once the ambulance was back at one of two stations, and billed to the appropriate insurance company electroni- cally.
