Corporate Profile
partners—all respected and renowned companies in their own field of activi- ties—supplying the best components for their ambulances. And through constant innovation, Demers and its partners today own an impressive portfolio of exclusive designs and patented technologies. With an enviable track record in employee job longevity, Demers has experienced em- ployees, experts in their field – many who are emergency responders or certi- fied paramedics themselves. This gives Demers the particular ability to antici- pate and exceed expectations, delivering precisely what EMS customers, para- medics and patients want and need in an ambulance.
SUCCESS IS NO ACCIDENT
Demers ambulances are engineered for both extreme conditions outside and opti- mal safety inside. Because Demers has never lost sight of the ultimate goal: to keep EMS specialists safe so they can
keep on saving lives. In fact, their huge success has come by thinking outside the box, examining every detail that may contribute to a safer or more efficient working environment in and around the ambulance.
That key approach – the foundation and philosophy behind Demers - began back when Paul Demers first started the com- pany. He was often in the heart of the ac- tion, where he saw for himself his vehicles’ end-user, developing a keen un- derstanding of what was needed for a safer, better-performing ambulance. In the late 50’s he went to work in his small garage, pondering, tinkering and tweak- ing his way to vastly improved ambu- lances. His thoughtful approach would become a consistent hallmark of his com- pany for 50 years – constant, quiet, break- through innovation. Today’s Demers ambulances feature many of the industry- leading firsts that make them some of the safest on the road for operators, para- medics and passengers.
DEMERS DNA: SAFETY IS IN THE DETAILS Cyber Connection
For an emergency vehicle, the less downtime the better – and, true to form, Demers was the first to devise an inge- nious, remote-access solution. Every De- mers ambulance is equipped with a standard Multiplex Demers Electronic Management System (DEMS) that offers full operational flexibility to easily cus- tomize the vehicle’s electronic functions to specific needs.

If the nearest dealership is far away, or if a service technician needs support, a Demers specialist can “plug in” the cus- tomer’s Multiplex system remotely to di- agnose, download and even repair the vehicle’s electric and electronic systems from virtually everywhere in the world.
Aerodynamic Design
The head-turning aerodynamic lines of a Demers ambulance aren’t just cool to look at – they can save up to a cool 12% in fuel costs depending on the ambulance type and model. And every Demers am- bulance is equipped standard with this sig- nature aerodynamic roof design with incorporated LED warning lights for en- hanced safety.
The Demers-exclusive “Mobility track” curbside captain’s chair with 3-point seat belt allows free movement while staying seated and safely belted.
