Fundraising Update

Richard Dart from Lostwithiel Golf Club nominated CBA as his

chosen charity and raised £1,700 from a tournament held in April. Richard said: “We are thrilled with the support from the local companies and individuals who helped support this event.” Truro Round Table also raised funds for the association at their golf day and we were presented with £1,277.

Thank you to the clubs, groups and organisations that have supported us over the last few months. We have received donations from Lions and Rotary Clubs, Darby and Joan Clubs, churches and local companies. The support we receive means we can continue with our work. If you are connected with an organisation that chooses a charity, please put our name forward for support.

WALKING OVER HOT COALS

IN MARCH A GROUP OF 32 VALIANT VOLUNTEERS, INCLUDING OUR VERY OWN KERRY KEAST AND JACKIE SOUTHON, WALKED OVER HOT COALS AND RAISED MORE THAN £3,000 TOWARDS THE FOR SIGHT APPEAL.

Spring into fashion

Eighty guests attended

a fashion show at Prideaux Place in Padstow. Jackie Stanley from Jackie Stanley Estate Agents teamed up with Dynasty, a London fashion house and Terri Walter, a local fashion designer, to provide an evening of fashion frivolity. To complement the evening, guests were served a delicious supper by acclaimed Padstow chef, Paul Ainsworth. The event raised £2,500 for the For Sight Appeal.
