Organic, Safe Fertilizers at Sunshine Ace Hardware

P

remium organic

fer t i l izer s t h a t a r e people- and pet-safe are now avail- able throughout Southwest Florida. Six Sunshine Ace Hardware stores—in Naples (2), East Naples, Bonita Springs, San Carlos Park and Marco Island—are now carrying 100 percent natural Dr. Earth fertilizers. The environmentally sound product line utilizes an advanced technology that includes fish bone meal, seaweed extract and beneficial soil bacteria and soil fungi (mycorrhizae). Accord- ing to the manufacturer, Dr. Earth has been proven to perform consistently in every planting application, from vegetables and shrubs to trees and lawns. Microbes help to physically stabilize the soil by binding

soil particles together, which contributes to soil aggregation. The beneficial fungi support plant roots in the absorption of nutrients and creation of healthy garden soil structure.
