BAROMETER in ebonised case with original chinoiserie decoration and folding brass legs, including feet
and finials, circa 1695.

FINE LOUIS XV ORMOLU AND CH‘ÜAN LUNG PORCELAIN MANTEL CLOCK.
formed as a standing figure of Lû Tung-Pin, bearded and wearing chequer-pattern robes, beside a smaller figure of Chung-Li Ch‘üan, holding a peach spray, wearing a pale blue coat enamelled with flower medallions. The ormolu foliage supports a cylindrical Chinese white porcelain drum, encrusted with flowers, containing a striking movement inscribed ‘Godin à Paris’with white enamel dial inscribed ‘Godin’, enriched with Mennecy and Meissen porcelain flowers, in contemporary brown morocco travelling case. NOT ILLUSTRATED: A rare very early gilt metal French table clock on three cast lion feet with
single hand dial to top of clock. The metal case still retaining an extraordinary amount of the original gold, circa 1700. Height: 5-6in (13-15cm) approx.
A Louis XVI lyre-shaped mantel clock in ormolu and grey marble, the enamelled dial of ring form with lunette centre showing the movement and inscribed on the dial Denière à Paris, the ormolu lyre-shaped frame with Apollo sunburst finial and cast and chased with fruiting vines and acanthus foliage, the oval marble base of waisted stepped form. Height: 261
