New faces at Sandy Lane

We are very much looking forward to adding this new talent and expertise to our team and it is with great pleasure that we welcome Vanessa, Conny, Dominic, Peter and Terry to the Sandy Lane family.

Meet Vanessa Williams

A native of Johannesburg in South Africa, Vanessa joins us with 20 years’ experience in hotels and hospitality. She will be responsible for the global management of sales, marketing and public relations on behalf of the resort as well as being involved in the day-to-day operations of Sandy Lane. Previously, Vanessa worked as Director of Marketing at the InterContinental Hong Kong and Director of Sales and Marketing at Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong, where she took a lead role in the successful renovation and re-launch of the flagship property.

Meet Chef Conny Andersson

With 32 years’ experience in the hotel industry, Conny has worked at executive chef level around the world, including Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts in Beverly Hills, Nevis, India, Bali and the Maldives. During his time with Four Seasons, and soon after its opening, Four Seasons Nevis became the first AAA Five Diamond resort in the Caribbean. Conny’s prestigious accolades include Chef of the Year in 2003, as well as a combined total of seven gold and four silver medals while leading teams during his time at Four Seasons.
