WILDCAT MOUNTAIN - OUR LAST HURRAH!

Facebook.com. When I read their post boasting that ten inches of snow fell on Friday and Saturday, I knew where we should go on Sunday. I had just accepted that
the ski season was over for me and my family. A few weeks ago we made our annual trip to Tuck’s. Just the previous week- end I washed all our win- ter clothes and put them away. I had packed our boot bags with all the gear that is needed to just grab and go when that early snow arrives next winter. But winter wasn’t over
on east side of Mount Washington. Charlie and Rachel were
just as excited as I was when they learned that new snow had covered Wildcat’s trails. After breakfast we grabbed our boot bags and skis and we drove in the rain to the resort.
The late April snowstorm covered the trails at Wildcat with 10 inches of new snow for their last weekend! Summer Operations begin Memorial Day weekend--visit

At 10 am we pulled
into the parking lot and we were greeted by two big signs. Above the ar- row pointing right read Wildfire and the arrow pointing left it read Yahoo! Both sides of the parking lot had about the same
