How long have you been in Crystal Palace? The shop opened in September 2007; we've just celebrated our sec-

What made you choose the area? Ilive locally and have always used the shops in Crystal Palace. Ilove it for it's
diversity and being at the top of the hill in London is fabulous, cleaner in air and panoramic views. ● Accessories,
Tell me about the business? Hairdressing is acreative pursuit. Since childhood Ihave always been involved in
designing and making things and Ithink the shop reflects this, I've done everything from designing the interior to Headdresses
selecting the clothing and maintaining ahigh standard of hairstyling in the salon.
Why did you decide to tackle clothing and accessories as well as hair? The clothing and accessories came about and Veils
by chance, we were selling products and Itried out asmall selection of clothes. They immediately began selling.
The shop is large and the clothing adds asoft dimension to it. Incidentally, when Iwas at school, Iused to make ●
clothes for my friends and cut their hair, so nothing has changed. Alterations
Tell me about the hair replacement service? I've specialised in wig design and hair replacement since training over
20 years ago. I've only used the best materials and natural hair, working with the client to come up with the best ● Prom Dresses

Do people still struggle with negative connotations when it comes to wigs? Usually when aclient has made the
decision to come to see me their concerns are outweighed by the fact that they have to do something to improve Dresses

the negativity is insignificant.
