The Brief
I approached the client to offer my services in building them a new website to replace the very basic site they
already had. Their site would be used for viewing the latest club news, trial photographs, trial results and
upcoming fixtures and for club members to interact
Craven & District Motor Club was already to known to me through family connections, and on suggestion from a
family member who is also a trials rider, I contacted them to offer to design a new site for them. This was one
of my very first builds and therefore as a test case for myself, I offered to do this for them without charge.

Craven DMC have very limited funds being only a small club, therefore they do not have lots of spare cash for
luxury’s. They have kept their site free running, using the advert strip to the right of the site, and they have
kept the sub-domain name which comes free with the site. Therefore their site being gifted in design, and
being free to host and maintain, hasn’t made any demands on their tight funds.
