British Airways is to start a twice-weekly service from
Gatwick to both Montego Bay, Jamaica, and Punta Cana, the
Dominican Republic, on October 25. The carrier is also
increasing its frequencies to St Lucia from three to five flights
a week, to Barbados from nine to 10 flights a week, and to
Port of Spain, Trinidad, from three to five flights a week.

Air Europa reports that its new Gatwick-Madrid flight,
making onward connections to the Spanish Caribbean easier,
is selling well. Connections include Punta Cana and Santo
Domingo, both Dominican Republic, and Havana.
