THE Institute of Travel Management is to update
Icarus, its corporate social responsibility project.
The overhaul will provide travel buyers and
suppliers with new information about cutting
carbon emissions.
The revised edition will include guidance on
car usage, meetings and events, and hotels.
The advice will also be provided to participants
in the World Wildlife Fund UK’s “One in Five
Challenge” scheme as part of a licensing
agreement with ITM.
