Back to school in Barbados
A GROUP of operators and agents has helped
refurbish a primary school in a remote parish of
Barbados during a fam trip organised by the
island’s tourist board.
They got to work to help Selah Primary School
in the St Lucy parish, which is the most distant
area from the Barbados capital.
Pupils welcomed the guests with singing,
dance routines and violin recitals.
The work was paid for by contributions totalling
£13,000 from the Barbados Tourism Authority
(BTA), BA Holidays, Kuoni, Virgin Holidays,
Thomas Cook, Q Holidays, Luxury Trips, Tropical
Places, Lowcost Travel Group and Almond Resorts.
