The San Juan Capistrano Chamber of Commerce provides an assortment of benefits, services and opportunities to ensure members get the most from their chamber involvement. For more than 50 years, the chamber has created, promoted and fostered a diverse business environment where companies across all industries have prospered and thrived in a dynamic, close-knit community. From networking, government advocacy and pro- fessional development, the chamber delivers top- notch programs, events and services designed to meet individual, and community, business goals.
CULTIVATE YOUR BUSINESS In today’s business world, networking is a necessity. Building and nurturing strong professional networks not
only leads to job and business opportunities it can also broaden industry knowledge, improve the quality of work and create cross- collaborative chances for business leaders to innovate within and advance the local community. Networking can seem daunting. A chamber membership erases
networking intimidations by connecting regional professionals and leaders to start the conversation. Te chamber hosts a monthly lunch local networking event
and an evening networking mixer, both of which rotate between various chamber-member eateries and businesses. At these events, attendees mingle in a causal setting and help support local colm- merce all while building their own businesses. In addition, the chamber hosts a variety of annual events to bring chamber and community members together including: Te Vintage Food & Wine Festival, State of the City, Installation Dinner and Rodeo Week—featuring a kick-off mixer, concerts and more.

visitsjc.com, and in this annual publication, the San Juan Capistrano Visitor’s Guide and Business Directory. Each year, the chamber staff receives thousands of referral
inquiries. Teir recommendations are limited to the vast list of chamber members. Members, too, have the exclusive opportunity to display brochures, fliers and business cards at the chamber office and various chamber events. Another fundamental way the chamber promotes networking and a strong business community is through introducing new member businesses to the community and helping established businesses celebrate landmarks. Chamber staff and board mem- bers can help businesses with ribbon cutting, opening, grand re-opening and anniversary ceremonies. Tese events are posted on

Te chamber also hosts monthly
government affairs meetings with city, state and federal representatives, and has an Economic Development Committee dedicated to being the voice of local busi- ness at official city meetings.

landscape, the chamber understands the importance of helping its members stay informed and up-to-date on industry de- velopments. Chamber programming aims to help members expand their profession- al expertise and improve local businesses through low-cost, high-quality, business- centric seminars and workshops led by experts in a variety of fields.

allows members to promote businesses amongst one another and the organiza- tion’s bi-monthly emails keeps members up-to-date on local issues, events and happenings.
