he San Juan Capistrano Chamber of Commerce’s mission—to support and further progress a local thriving economy while enriching the commu-
nity for residents, business owners and visitors alike—requires a deep-seeded commitment from both the chamber of commerce and local busi- ness leaders. To accomplish its mission, the chamber
partners with regional businesses and organiza- tions—creating a win-win partnership where the business and chamber receive equal support, benefi ts and exposure. T rough the chamber’s annual sponsorship program, businesses are off ered an opportunity to support the chamber’s
mission as well as various community and mem- ber events in one, convenient transaction. “We found that a number of local companies
were supporting multiple chamber events and looking for other ways to get involved,” said Mark Bodenhamer, executive director of the San Juan Capistrano Chamber of Commerce. “T e program off ers those companies the opportunity to promote their company at all of our events and programs in one easy step.” T ese sponsorships provide a critical support
network for the chamber’s annual events includ- ing: T e Vintage Food & Wine Festival, State of the City, Installation Dinner and Rodeo Week as well as weekly farmers market and monthly

networking events. Sponsorships can vary from event to event and diff erent decrees of fi nancial backings. T e chamber off ers three levels of sponsorships at $5,000, $10,000 and $15,000— each with a built in cost savings of 20 to 30 percent on the cost depending on the level. “We are always happy to custom tailor pack-
ages to each participant’s individual needs,” Bodenhamer said. “Some companies prefer to focus on certain events, such as State of the City or T e Vintage Food & Wine Festival, so we try to be as fl exible as possible.” T rough these essential annual partnerships,
the chamber and local business community continue to thrive.
