25 Te nation’s largest non-mo- torized parade saunters through downtown San Juan Capistrano as participants clad in ornate costumes, marching in bands and riding in horse draw carriages celebrate the 59th Annual Swallows Day Parade. Some 40,000 specta- tors line San Juan’s streets each year to make the faithful swallows Capistrano return. Te parade kicks off at 11 a.m. Entertainment continues throughout the day at the Historic Town Center Park-located Mercado Street Faire with live entertainment, shopping, dining and fun for the whole family.
