Monarch site ‘reflects agents’ needs’

Monarch holidays, hotels and flights are available via a new website.
The holiday section of the new
site –
Monarchagents.co.uk – has been designed to reflect feedback Monarch has received from agents. The site enables agents to
search and refine against a wider choice of holiday options. It allows the selection of multiple airports and destinations, as well as navigation between various options including resort, price, departure date and board basis. The site also has a revised late-
deals function, allowing agents to filter against options according to the needs of their customer. The move all but completes
Monarch’s shift away from the Cosmos Holidays name. The
Cosmosagents.co.uk site
will continue to operate alongside

the new one for a short period until it is withdrawn. Agents’ logins work on both sites. Tour operations sales director Gary Anslow said: “The design and functionality of the holiday section of the new site is different to our existing site. We launched
Monarchagents.co.uk to a selected number of agents a few weeks ago, with a view to getting ‘live’ feedback ahead of a full launch. “We are delighted with the
response. It has been really well received and we have seen a good uplift in sales from agents using the new site.” He added: “The majority of the
holidays are booked online, so it’s critical we provide agents with all of the options and alternatives they require for their customers – we feel the new site does this.” Cosmos Tours & Cruises, not
a part of the Monarch Group, continues to offer products
under the Cosmos name.
