Crystal Cruises adds two more ships to order list

Princess Cruises to exhibit Downton Abbey costumes


Princess Cruises is to introduce Downton Abbey exhibitions on its UK-based ships. This month the line will install displays of the costumes and jewellery worn by characters in the TV show on Emerald Princess and Caribbean Princess. The exhibitions will run until September. princess.com


Royal online service Voom available across the fleet


Royal Caribbean’s new internet service Voom is available across all 25 ships. The line offers two packages: Surf, which starts from $12.99 per device per day, and Surf and Stream, which is capable of streaming movies and music, and costs from $17.99. Celebrity offers £250 to 100 top-selling agents

Celebrity Cruises will repeat the agent incentive it ran during the wave booking period in May and June following the “huge success” of its turn-of-year campaign.


AGENT INCENTIVE


The line gave £500 worth of Celebrity Rewards points to 100 winning agents in January and February, recognising top-sellers across the high street, online and homeworking sectors. It also rewarded the best in multiples, independents and consortia and those that were new to cruise, new to Celebrity or most improved. Sales director Sarah Harraghy said agents had monitored the Celebrity Rewards league tables, trying to make it into the top 100, and added that it had created healthy competition and “real partner engagement”.
