NEWS The Craft Channel contracts with iForce


Te Craft Channel, a TV shopping business has entered into a contract with iForce which is to provide a range of fulfilment services. Te move will ensure that the retailer which launched in September last year can benefit from streamlined operations as it grows. Te Craft Channel broadcasts live on


Sky and Freesat offering a range of craft products including those from the US Anna Griffin range. iForce will initially manage items from the aforementioned range then taking on an extended


range via its shared facility in Saltley, Birmingham. Te Craft Channel will also deploy iForce Pathfinder, a carrier management solution under pinned by its Route Genie software. Commenting on the move Dali Graham, director at Te Craft Channel said “As a relatively young channel, we were looking for an experienced partner that could provide a host of professional fulfilment services whilst helping our organisation to drive further efficiencies across the supply chain.”


vente-privee acquires stake in SpinMe


vente–privee has acquired a strategic stake in imaging and studio workflow technology specialist SpinMe. Te flash sales pioneer is one of the world’s largest fashion retailers with a €1.7 billion turnover and is a long standing client of SpinMe, using the technology to display products in a way that allows customers to ‘pick up’ and view items as they would in-store. SpinMe’s clients include


Selfridges, Macy’s, Tesco, Wiggle, BHS, Halfords and Schuh. “We’ve seen first-hand the


benefits, and how the company is changing imaging techniques, studio automation and workflow management for the retail industry,” said Ilan Benhaim, co-founder of vente-privee. “We use the technology across our range of products and due to excellent imagery have a 5% return


rate, compared to the online industry average of 30%. vente-privee is investing to allow SpinMe to further develop and expand.” “vente-privee is helping us to


invest in research and development,” said David Brint, CEO of SpinMe. “Te company actually uses our technology, so the quicker we innovate, the more beneficial it will be for all of our retail clients and their customers. as Chairman, while David Brint, previously MD, becomes CEO. SpinMe’s founder John Warner takes the role of head of research and development. Brint was previously managing director of Pentland Sports and director of Berghaus.
