let’s take this opportunity to UHÁ HFW RQ WKH VXFFHVVHV RI the year and look forward to the challenges and excite- ment of 2016. Most obvious are the ex- cellent competitive results, with our shotgun team lead- ing the way. National Coach Todd Graves along with Jay Waldron and a stable of as- sistant coaches have done an outstanding job prepar- ing our athletes for podium À QLVKHV DV ZLWQHVVHG E\ World Cup medals, 12 World Championship medals and gathering seven of the 10 available Olympic country quotas. Particular performance highlights include Vincent Hancock and his two World Cup wins along with a come- from-behind victory to earn a third World title. Morgan Craft and Caitlin Connor put forth the most exciting action during their World Championships duel which helped highlight the spe- cial year we had in wom- en’s skeet performances throughout this season. earn his third Olympic Team nomination.

Our Paralym-

This is- sue of USA Shooting News is packed with examples of stellar performances from our athletes and coaches, and I encourage you to get familiar with the special year we had competitively. USA Shooting also en-

joyed organizational suc- cesses in 2015. Most im- portant is the development of the USAS Coach Academy and our advanced coach HGXFDWLRQ DQG FHUWLÀ FDWLRQ program. Youth Develop- ment and Coach Manager Mike Theimer has guided the progression of this ef- fort with much credit to the cadre of volunteer coaches developing course philoso- phy and detailed curriculum. This program is crucial to the development of our athlete pipeline as it is the quality coaches who are the train- ers and multipliers that will ensure continued competi- tive success.

The work of Pete Carson and his most capable volunteer staff have produced a positive FDVK Á RZ IURP PDWFK RSHUD WLRQV IRU WKH À UVW WLPH LQ 86$ Shooting’s history. Contrib- uting to that positive result is record participation in the Junior Olympic program and at national championships. As you are likely aware,

the USAS Media Department produces one of the very best Olympic sport maga- zines as evidenced by this issue. In addition to print media, Kevin Neuendorf and Jessica Delos Reyes continu- ally keep our membership and the public informed through press releases and active social media. Recognition is also due

to our Merchandise Depart- ment managed by Amber Aragon. Since Amber as- sumed responsibility for merchandise operations, that department has oper- DWHG DV D SURÀ W FHQWHU LQ providing desirable product on a continuing basis. This merchandising success now helps fund other USAS pro- grams.

Also key is revenue gen- eration where Chief Mar- NHWLQJ 2IÀ FHU 5RE :HHNHV is doing an excellent job of reestablishing fundraising operations internally since the dissolution of the USA
