Cow Shot in Rogers County Cummings reports the shooting of a cow near Chelsea


in Rogers County, Okla. The mature black cow weighed ap- proximately 1,100 pounds and was shot from a neighboring roadway between Aug. 8 and 9.


Cow Killed and Butchered Near Collinsville Cummings reports the killing of a cow on a property


near Collinsville in Tulsa County, Okla. On Aug. 30, some- one entered the property through an unlocked gate and killed a heavy-bred Angus cow weighing approximately 1,500 pounds. The cow was partially butchered.


Two Saddles, Rifl e Taken from Muskogee Area On Aug. 31, 2 saddles and a rifl e were stolen from a


barn near Muskogee, Okla., reports Cummings. The stolen saddles were: a Marty Byrd 15-inch custom ranch double- rigged, rough-out saddle with a large wrapped horn and a medicine bag on the right side; a Marty Byrd 14 1/2-inch double-rigged saddle with smooth leather, a wrapped horn, and fl oral tooling on the borders. A Ruger AR 556 .223 semi-auto rifl e, serial no. 850-05767, was also stolen.


Saddles, Tack Stolen from Vinita Area Cummings reports 2 saddles, tack and 2 sets of chinks


were stolen from a barn near Vinita, Okla., Sept. 5. Stolen were a Simco dark oiled saddle with silver conchos; a brown leather youth saddle with a dark brown suede seat and extra long stirrups; a red rope bridle and bit; brown leather chinks; and red leather chinks with a brown leather top. DISTRICT 8 — TEXAS PANHANDLE/ SOUTHWEST OKLAHOMA Five Angus Heifers Missing from Throckmorton TSCRA Special Ranger Scott Williamson reports 5 bred


Angus heifers went missing from the Throckmorton area. The heifers were last seen April 25. They have a swallow fork in the right ear and are branded with a capital cursive L on the left hip.

from a ranch near Throckmorton. The bull weighed 1,500 pounds when it went missing; it has a blue eye; a white ear

DISTRICT 12 — NORTHEAST TEXAS Eight Heifers Missing Near Arthur City TSCRA Special Ranger Toney Hurley reports 8 mixed

DISTRICT 14 – EAST TEXAS Ten Cattle Stolen from Freestone County TSCRA Special Ranger Jimmy Dickson reports the


theft of 10 cattle from a property in Freestone County. On Aug. 17, a thief or thieves removed a chain and lock from a gate to steal 9 red unbranded heifers and 1 black cow branded JJ on the left hip. If you have any information re- garding this case, please call Dickson at 903-586-8733.


DISTRICT 21 — EAST TEXAS Utility Vehicle, Equipment Theft at Robertson County Property


TSCRA Special Ranger Hal Dumas reports the theft of a utility vehicle and other equipment from a property in Robertson County. Taken on July 31 was a 2010 Kawasaki Mule 4×4, a Kobalt brand air compressor, a Poulan 16-inch chain saw and 18-inch bolt cutters.


Saddles, Bridles Stolen from Burleson County Dumas reports the theft of saddles and bridles on Aug.


15 from Caldwell in Burleson County. Stolen were a Jeff Smith “Region X Champion Header” trophy saddle; a Clay Hamel full rough-out saddle and several bridles.


Eleven Cattle Missing from Brazos County Property Between Aug. 26 and 28, a thief or thieves cut a lock


on a gate at a Brazos County property and stole 5 cows, 2 heifers and 4 calves, reports Dumas. One of the cows has a 3-T brand on the left side, a diamond on the left hip and an R on the left thigh.


Beefmaster Pair Stolen in Milam County Dumas reports that on Aug. 26, a dun-colored Beef-
