DISTRICT 2 — WESTERN OKLAHOMA/TEXAS PANHANDLE Thirteen Calves Missing from Cheyenne, Roger Mills County


Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association (TSCRA) Special Ranger Ben Eggleston reports that 13 crossbred and Hereford calves went missing as of July 23 from a property at Cheyenne, Okla., in Roger Mills County. There was no sign of forced entry to the property. The calves were being weaned in pens next to a county road. If you have information regarding these calves, please call Eggleston at 806-852-4741.


DISTRICT 3 — SOUTH CENTRAL OKLAHOMA Ten Steers Missing from Roosevelt Area TSCRA Special Ranger Brett Wellden reports that 10


steers went missing from a Roosevelt, Okla., property in June or July. The group of steers was mostly black, weighed approximately 350 to 400 pounds each, and branded with a KM on the right hip and green ear tags in the right ear.


Nine Steers Missing from a Second Roosevelt Ranch Wellden reports 9 steers from another Roosevelt,


Okla., ranch also went missing in June or July. The steers were mixed-color yearlings weighing approximately 700 pounds each, were branded with an MC brand and had numbered ear tags.


Saddles, Tack and Water-Tank Taken from Payne County Ranch


Wellden reports that between July 1 and Aug. 31, a thief or thieves stole 3 saddles, tack and a 250-gallon water tank from a property near Cushing in Payne County, Okla. Sto- len were a high-back Billy Cook saddle with bull hide cover around the seat, a water pouch on the left rear billet and a heavy breast collar stamped S/S Ranch; a Billy Cook trophy saddle with “Buzzard Arena” stamp, padded seat and fenders turned inside out; and a high-back saddle with round skirting and heavy breast collar stamped S/S Ranch. Also stolen were 4 bridles with reins and bits; 2-ring snaf-

Forty-One Steers Missing from Waynoka in Woods County


Wellden reports 41 steers have been missing from a prop- erty near Waynoka in Woods County, Okla., since July 1. Most of the steers in the group are black, some are red or buff colored. The cattle weighed approximately 775 to 800 pounds each. All were branded with a U on the right hip and had purple tags in the right ear bearing the ranch name and phone number. DISTRICT 4 — NORTH CENTRAL OKLAHOMA Registered Shorthorn Cow Missing from Talala Property


TSCRA Special Ranger Bart Perrier reports a 4-year-old registered Shorthorn cow went missing on Aug. 1 or 2 from a property near Talala in Washington County, Okla. The cow is a red roan, tattooed with JS02 in the left ear and had been tagged with a white ear tag, #43. The cow was heavy-bred when last seen and weighed approximately 1,600 pounds. DISTRICT 5 — EASTERN OKLAHOMA Saddle and Breast Collar Stolen in McCurtain County TSCRA Special Ranger John Cummings reports a saddle


and breast collar were stolen July 31 in the Idabel area of McCurtain County, Okla. The items were stripped from a horse that was tied to a trailer during a rodeo that evening. The stolen saddle is a G BAR G natural leather barrel


saddle with a 14 ½ inch rough-out seat, rounded skirts and dark brown buck stitching around the entire saddle and wooden stirrups. The saddle was custom made by Den- nis George, Wyoming, and had serial number 207 on it in several locations.
