Arco unveils new big book 2015 S

Busbar System

he Ri4Power 185mm busbar system is suitable for configuring compact, secure power distribution within Ri4Power switchgear systems or Rittal’s renowned TS 8 enclosure range. Offering current ratings to 1600A and a short time withstand rating of 50kA for one second, the Ri4Power system meets the current switchgearstandard IEC 61439-1. It is easy to install with no drilling required and integral contact hazard protection, making the system both safe and secure and a quick fix to a punched rail system. The busbar has adaptors ranging from 800 to 1600A for the safe use of standard compact air circuit-breakers available from leading moulded case circuit breaker manufacturers. The circuit breaker can therefore be fitted directly onto the busbar which in turn reduces the amount of space needed within enclosures to accommodate Ri4Power systems. NH slimline fuse-switch disconnectors are available in single pole or 3-pole versions enabling a very compact busbar distribution system. The new design maximises heat flow for optimum heat dissipation within the enclosure.

ydrafeed’s barfeed systems are usually sold as a package with new CNC turning centres or directly to companies looking to increase production capacity. Engineering subcontracting work is provided to a diverse range of companies in different industries. When current Owner Martyn Page, took control of the company in 2012, he recognised that a major overhaul of Hydrafeed’s production administration procedures was needed. PSL Datatrack software fitted in well with Hydrafeed's business model as it is designed for small to medium sized engineering companies. The focus was initially on the subcontracting business and the software was rolled out to the manufacture and assembly of the barfeeders.

Martindale high resolution TEK101 finds the live wire N

ow available from Martindale Electric is the latest non- contact voltage indicator, the TEK101, designed specially to discriminate between adjacent live conductors where standard voltage indicators struggle. The high resolution capability of the TEK101 improves safety and saves time on-site. The TEK101 is a pocket sized, non contact voltage indicator which conforms to CAT IV 1000V safety regulations.

Simple to use, the TEK101

offers voltage detection from 180V to 600V AC by generating both an audible alarm and bright LED visual indication. The TEK101 features an extended tip with optimised sensitivity to discriminate between individual adjacent live conductors and gain access to confined and hard to reach spaces. The new non contact voltage indicator from Martindale Electric incorporates a unique built-in proving device to continuously self check the tester is correctly functioning, thereby eliminating the need for a separate proving unit.

Stand-Alone Wireless Occupancy Sensors

ialight, the innovative global leader in LED lighting technology for industrial applications, today unveiled its new wireless occupancy sensor, a unique battery-powered plug-and-play sensor that speeds and simplifies installation to provide maximum lighting control flexibility and energy savings in industrial applications.

D Designed to integrate

seamlessly with any Dialight smart lighting system, the new wireless sensor can be placed virtually anywhere within a facility, without the need to install or move cabling, for nearly unlimited lighting control options. A single sensor can be programmed to control multiple lights and groups of lights, eliminating the need to install a sensor on every light. Using Pyroelectric InfraRed (PIR) technology, each sensor can instantly switch a single light or a group of lights from off to on or from a dimmed state to on when motion is detected for full visibility and brightness only when needed, greatly reducing on-time and power consumption.
