Genny Dixon Genny is head of Research with Towards Maturity CIC, a benchmarking practice that supports employers in the modernisation of their learning strategy. Towards Maturity has conducted in-depth research over the last 10 years into factors influencing success in the implementation


of technology-enabled learning to help L&D professionals improve learning provision. Genny’s experience and interest in learning technologies grew from her commercial training background and her work with e-skills UK to develop standards and qualifications in the use of web and collaborative technologies. This is her third year as a judge.


Zoe Ferdinand Currently Learning Technology manager for Capita Employee Benefits Zoe has been in the learning and development field for over 8 years, specialising for the last four in learning technologies. She has experience in delivering a range of learning interventions across the housing, social care,


utilities and financial/professional services industries. After leading her team to ‘e-learning team of the year’ at the 2014 E-Learning Awards Zoe is delighted to be joining this year’s panel and giving recognition to others.


Tony Frascina Tony, the chair of the judges, is a learning consultant with extensive experience in training, teaching and research. Originally from an educational background, he undertook research in human-computer interaction, presenting his PhD work on user-centred design to a world-wide audience. He


has worked with international NGOs, government departments, multinationals, universities, charities and more. It’s his fifth year as a judge and fourth as chair. He is an eLN board member.


Kate Graham Kate is an active member of the eLN who has been on the judging panel for the last four years. Kate has been involved in technology-led learning for over 12 years and is committed to sharing the best practice lessons learned from the awards process. She contributes widely to the industry


and is a regular commentator via blogs, podcasts and social media coverage, which peaks every January as chair of the backchannel for the annual Learning Technologies conference.


Jane Hart


Jane is an independent workplace learning adviser, and is an internationally recognised speaker and writer on the use of social technologies for collaborative learning and working. She is the founder of the Centre for Learning & Performance Technologies and has been involved in e-learning for over


25 years. This is her fifth year as a judge.


Kenny Henderson Kenny is an Independent Learning and Talent Consultant working with clients from the private and public sector to improve individual, team and business performance. As Head of Talent Development at Sky, he was responsible for developing the company’s approach to Online Learning and


over a 4 year period saw adoption grow 100% year on year. Returning to the panel for a second year, he’s looking forward to seeing some great examples of how learning technology has helped organisations develop their people and achieve their goals.


Rob Hubbard Rob is managing director and creative lead of LAS (LearningAge Solutions) a bespoke digital learning company. Rob is a designer through and through who is fascinated by how we learn, what we remember and why. A previous Chair of the eLN he is also a regular conference speaker and editor


and co-author of The Really Useful eLearning Instruction Manual. Richard Hyde


Richard is CEO of e-learning and Totara supplier Mind Click where he’s responsible for operations management, innovation and strategy. After 20 years in the learning industry his passion is still the tough challenge of introducing creativity into the corporate learning world. As a judge he


enjoys elegant simplicity in learning design. Richard is on the board of the eLN and gets his best ideas when out fell running.


Pam Jones Pam has been developing e-learning for over 15 years. She previously worked for a leading global education publisher and as a Lead Instructional Designer within the healthcare sector. In 2007 she set up Eight Interactive and now successfully works as an e-learning consultant


and instructional designer for several clients including Universities, large multinationals, publishers, healthcare organisations and professional bodies. She has designed e-learning in wide range of subjects for learners of all ages and using different learning technologies. Pam has a Postgraduate Diploma in ICT and Education. What she loves about e-learning is that no two projects are the same and every project is an opportunity to create new learning experiences. This is her second year as an awards judge.


Joan Keevill


Joan is a highly experienced e-learning consultant and instructional designer. She has designed and scripted a wide range of e-learning solutions - for corporate multinationals, charities, craft membership organisations, public service bodies and the HE sector, to name but a few – and has won


two ELN gold awards. She is an accredited facilitator (Henley and COLF) of live training workshops, leadership development programmes and action learning sets and contributes to post-graduate programmes as an e-tutor. This is Joan’s fourth term as a judge.
