“But we still have significant growth ambitions for the UK market, and we are absolutely committed to the UK – that remains unchanged.” It comes as White revealed the

line celebrated its most successful month in July for its new trade website onesourcecruises.com, which launched in May. “The traffic has been fantastic since we launched – in May we had 4,000 visitors to the site, 10,000 in June and 13,000 last month,” White said. He added that the new training

modules had been praised by agents. “Since we started the courses in June, we’ve seen 1,300 modules completed. One of the most popular courses is learning how to use OneSource, which is really great,” he added. The line is also gearing up to

launch phase two of its flight- booking tool Plane Sailing, which was unveiled in June. “There’ll be more exciting announcements about phase two in the next few weeks”. White would not offer details on what these would include, adding only: “They will be positive improvements.”

The trips take in the Galapagos Islands

Serbia, Romania and Bulgaria. There will also be some overnight

stays, while for days spent in port, the line will offer its Crystal Adventures shore excursions, as well as its new programme, Active Exploration Adventures. The latter is tailored for “guests

wanting a high-intensity shore-side activity”, with passengers able to create their own active adventures using the bicycles (electric or manual), Segways and other active gear available on the ship for independent exploration. A luxury yacht tender will also

be on offer for private yachting experiences, which will take

guests to more secluded areas within the destinations. “We continue to listen to what our

guests and the luxury traveller want, and river cruises are what they’ve been telling us they want for some time – it’s a natural extension of the... ocean cruise Crystal has offered for the past 25 years,” said Crystal president and chief executive Edie Rodriguez. “Our guests will have the

opportunity to revel in the unique environment that sets river cruising apart from other travel experiences.” Itineraries, fares and bookings for

Crystal River Cruises will be available from December 1, 2015.
